Candle Care
Following these guidelines will help you have the best experience with your candles.
Trim wick to 1/8”-1/4” before each burn. This is the most important thing you can do to maintain an even and clean burn. Always remove any wick trimmings from your candle before lighting. Never leave matches or other debris in your candle as it may cause a fire.
Allow your candle to burn for 2-3 hours or until the entire top is liquid the first time you burn it. This will lengthen the life of your candle. Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours to avoid the container from getting too hot.
Always burn your candle on a flame-resistant stable surface away from small children and pets.
Be sure to extinguish your candle if the flame is too high, if it constantly smokes, or if the flame bounces. Check to make sure that your candle is not burning in a breeze, trim the wick and relight.
Do use a candle snuffer to extinguish your candle and never use water as it may cause the hot wax to splatter.
Wait to move your candle until after it has cooled to avoid the possibility of accidents.
